Chief Legal Officer
Michael attended The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (B.S.E.E.) with an emphasis in Computer Programming. Michael subsequently attended law school where he received his Juris Doctorate with an emphasis on Intellectual Property. Upon graduation from law school, Michael joined a prestigious New York Intellectual Property boutique law firm, where he represented clients in all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. After several years, Michael returned to California and joined an internationally recognized law firm in its Palo Alto, CA office as a litigator. Michael then joint Scorpion Design as the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) where he manages all aspects of the legal department, including, but not limited to: contracts, patent prosecution and litigation, trademark prosecution and litigation, and DMCA notices.
